The strike may be over?
It looks as though late today or early tomorrow service should be restored..
NY1 was talking about how the New York blood supply is at emergency levels because donors cannot reach their appointments. Also a LTTE in the Times mentions cancer patients (and by implication, other seriously ill patients) who can't get to treatment. I just can't believe someone could actually die because of the strike.
