Barbara is all moved in now. (Well, sort of--there are still suitcases everywhere.) For the past couple of nights she's been sleeping on the futon in the living room but she intends to buy an inflatable mattress so she can sleep on the floor of my bedroom, leaving the living room clear for other things. She moved in on Monday evening--she arrived around 10:00 while Duncan was still here, so he got to chat with her. She started her job yesterday, and then last night Doug joined us and we hung out at Arriba Arriba!, my favorite chorus-boy-cruising-joint/yummy-Mexican-food-and-drink hangout. I didn't realize until last night just how full of aging chorus boys that place is--they are EVERYWHERE there--the clientele, the wait staff, the hosting staff. We had a great conversation about a bunch of things yesterday, including politics, English history and years-old gossip from Barbara's and my shared history.
