Modeling

I'm exploring pursuing commercial print work. I've actually done a decent amount but for various reasons have been unable to build much of a portfolio. I did a stock photography gig in Bergen County in August of 2001 (great money and I got to keep the clothes!)--after 9/11, it took me awhile to remember to ask them for the shots. They directed me to their site (Getty Images) but I was never able to find the pictures. I did a spec print shoot juggling a soccer ball and the photog paid me and then never sent the prints. I asked him a few months later and he was very distracted, dealing with a personal crisis. Argh! I was able to get some prints from the iVillage job I did but, er, I'm not sure they're my best shots. It's all so annoying! I can't build much of a comp card without prints of my work.

So, I'm writing a cover letter for commercial print agents and I'm trying to think of what types I could do. Shiksa Destroyer Goddess, vixen...well, perhaps those aren't very commercial ;-) But I could do young mother, athlete, young professional...
